Hyundai will introduce a new driver cooling system at the Acropolis Rally Greece this weekend, with cockpit temperatures expected to reach nearly 70 degrees Celsius. The rally in Greece is known for its challenging gravel stages and extreme heat, making conditions especially tough this year. Weather forecasts predict temperatures around 37 degrees, double inside the cockpit, posing challenges for drivers and teams. Hyundai will use a helmet cooling system for the first time in competitive action to help its drivers cope with the high temperatures. Toyota also made changes to their livery to combat the heat during the Rally Portugal in May.
